Visit of delegation from Surabaya, Indonesia to FCL Global in Zurich
The delegation from Indonesia visited the Zurich hub to understand more about FCL Global's work on the sustainable development of future cities.
On 2 May, FCL Global hosted a delegation from Surabaya, Indonesia at the Zurich hub.
The members of the Commission of the Regional People’s Representative Council, Mr Baktiono (Chairman), Mr Agoeng Prasodjo (Vice Chairman), Mrs. Aning Rahmawati (Vice Chairwoman), Mr Buchori Imron, Mr Endy Suhadi, accompanied by Cevi Agis Firmansyah and two guests were welcomed by Associate Director Research, Dr Julio Paulos; and Associate Director Communications, Michèle Rüegg Hormes.
After a general introduction by Dr Julio Paulos, Dense and Green module coordinator Dr Michelle Jiang and Powering the City PhD researcher Justin McCarty gave insights into their research work at FCL Global.
The guests then followed the online presentation by Prof. em Dr Gerhard Schmitt, who spoke on the topic: ‘Smart, Artificial. Responsive. Which city for the future?’.
Finally, Urban BioCycles Mycelium Digitalisation PhD researcher Tiziano Derme gave a tour through the Robotic Fabrication Lab and the Bio Fabrication Lab.
