Dense+Green Cities webinar

The Dense+Green Cities webinar is now available for viewing. The webinar was held in conjunction with the exhibition by the Dense and Green Building Typologies team at FCL.

The external pageDense+Green Cities: Architecture As Urban Ecosystem webinar features presentation and panel discussion exploring the interactions between buildings and the city as ecological systems through questions of concept, planning, design, technology, and not least, experience.

Panellists include:

  • Mark Wee, executive director of the Design Singapore Council
  • Prof. Stephen Cairns, professor and director of the Future Cities Laboratory at the Singapore-ETH Centre
  • Prof. Thomas Schroepfer, professor of Architecture and Sustainable Design at SUTD
  • Prof. Sacha Menz, professor and chair of Building Process at ETH Zurich
  • Prof. Roland Bouffanais, associate professor and principal investigator of Applied Complexity Group at SUTD
  • Srilalitha Gopalakrishnan, first vice president of the Singapore Institute of Landscape Architects

The event is held in conjunction with the launch of the book external pageDense+Green Cities: Architecture as Urban Ecosystem by the Dense and Green Building Typologies team. The research is led by Prof. Thomas Schroepfer and Prof. Sacha Menz.

The book seeks to provide insights to some of the most innovative Dense+Green Cities of recent years in Asia, the Americas, and Europe.

The event is hosted and made possible by the National Design Centre.
