The Dense and Green Cities module from FCL Global won two awards at the Singapore Landscape Architecture Awards for their research into urban environments.

Adrian Fuhrmann of the SEC was recognised with the SFIAR Award for his previous work on the residues from black soldier fly rearing.

Dr Numa Joy Bertola was recognised by EPFL for his outstanding PhD thesis on the design of measurement systems for existing civil infrastructure, which was completed at FCL.

PhD researcher Mohsen Nazemi has been awarded the “Best New Researcher” by the International Cycling Safety Conference steering committee for his research on applying virtual reality in cycling research.

Dr Sai Pai won the best paper award at the 1st ACM International Workshop on Device-Free Human Sensing for his paper on evaluating floor vibrations for building occupant localisation.
