Shuyan XIONG

PhD Researcher of Circular Future Cities

Shuyan Xiong worked as a lab assistant at DBT (ETHZ), specializing in polymer 3D-printing during her master study. Her master's thesis, entitled "Optimization of infill structures for high-performance 3D-printed building facades", was supervised by A/S Group and DBT, which developed her parametric modeling and performance analysis skills.

Prior to joining the chair, she worked as a MEP & LEED intern at Drees&Sommer and later as solutions engineer at Arcplus Group in Shanghai, specializing in smart buildings and smart cities.

Research Interests

The focus of her research lies in the material sourcing description for digitally enabled circular economy.
