Yean Seanglidet

Researcher & Collaborator of Powering the City research module

Lidet, a researcher in the Powering the City module, leverages her expertise in machine perception and generative AI to explore human mobility patterns and energy challenges related to EV and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) dynamics. She aims to study local energy demand by generating realistic simulations of EV mobility data using data augmentation techniques.

Beyond this project, Lidet's expertise lies in applying machine perception and generative AI to diverse challenges. From designing sensor error filters and machine learning algorithms for home-based rehabilitation to the Deep Learning-powered indoor localization with GANs for assisting individuals with dementia; her research bridges cutting-edge technology with real-world impact. She further expands her focus to global localization, exploring the link between urban green spaces and human well-being using remote sensing and data science.
