Alina Galimshina has finished her PhD at the Chair of Sustainable construction at ETH Zurich where the main research objective was the identification of the robust optimal cost-effective and climate-friendly building renovation scenarios for Swiss buildings. The research was focused on the identification and quantification of the uncertainty sources during the building life cycle and robust optimization.

Besides the PhD research, Alina has contributed to the parametric real time life cycle assessment tool development at the Chair of Sustainable Construction. The goal of the tool is to provide decision-makers with the LCA result in the early design stage.
